Director

Design Build Search is seeking a Director of Project Management on behalf of our client based in Dublin City.

Our client is a national consultancy firm who has been delivering consultancy services to the real estate, property and construction industry since the late 90’s.

This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction contracts and regulations.

It is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team, managing prestigous construction projects in Ireland, in a variety of sectors such as residential, commercial, and retail.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing fulfilment of all contractual commitments to clients
• Develop the brand and identity opportunities to grow the region.
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
• Oversee consultant procurement and deployment within a public and private sector framework
• Monitor and report on progress, cost and expenses of projects
• Oversee close-out/practical completion of project and documentation
• Develop and maintain strong internal relationships
• Provide strong leadership with the ability to challenge to safeguard the business and achieve company objectives continuously and robustly.
• Ensure that all operations are carried out in a technically acceptable manner and conforms to all required standards.

Requirements:

• 15+ years Consultancy Project Management experience
• 8+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, leading, and coaching professionals.
• Degree in Project Management/Construction Management/Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Competent and consistent planner (MS Project and/or Powerpoint)
• Public and private contract experience
• Experience with construction & design methodologies/processes
• Good negotiator and influencer
• Effective leader with the ability to be a team player
