Consultancy Project Manager

Design Build Search is working with a UK based Construction Consultancy Firm who are expanding their operations into Ireland. They have an opening for an Intermediate Project Manager to join the their team.

Our client is a specialist construction and property development company serving the residential, commercial, and industrial market. Their office is based in Sandyford, Co. Dublin.

The successful applicant will work in tandem with the Project Director on a variety of projects throughout Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage site staff and all contractors
  • Proposing suitable changes to design to improve saving, ease construction programme, enhance specification and quality completion.
  • Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
  • Plan, maintain and control finical administration of all construction work in obtain and
  • Maintain maximum cost effectiveness.
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with Directors, Project Managers, Site Engineers and services Co-coordinator to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information.
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specification, building regulations and good building practice.
  • Check and understand all drawings and specification. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in timely manner.
  • Establish project resource requirements and lead motivate the project team
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations
  • Responsible for Health and Safety

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Residential Construction experience (must have)
  • 6+ years’ experience in similar or related field
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Previous experience working with a local Consultancy Practice

Compensation Package:

  • €60,000 – 75,000 Base Salary (DOE)
  • 5-10% Performance Based Bonus
  • Pension (After 6 month probation period)
  • Car Allowance
  • Hybrid Working Model (2-3 days WFH)
