Sourcing Methodology

Stage 1 - Briefing and Initial Market Exploration

The job briefing will be conducted by your Account Manager and Search Consultant in order to understand your role and organisation better. The briefing will usually include the following questions/steps:

  • The organisation, size location and the particular department the role sits within
  • Defining the responsibilities and expected outcomes of the role
  • Identifying key stakeholders who will be involved in the process
  • Developing a comprehensive 360-degree competency profile, which outlines the desired skills, knowledge, and attributes of the ideal candidate
  • Establishing the criteria for candidate assessment

Stage 2 - Market Mapping, Research and Engagement (Screening)

Building a solid pool of well-qualified candidates is critical to our success, and we do this by tapping into our vast network, both locally and internationally.

Stage 3 - Competency based interview

Our interview approach is designed to ensure that we thoroughly evaluate every aspect of the approved assessment criteria. This approach enables us to objectively and fairly compare all candidates on the list at the conclusion of the process, aligning with the best practices of DE and I Recruiting. Once candidates meet our qualifications, we will present a comprehensive shortlist to the client, summarising the following key points:

  • Suitability and compatibility with the role and the organisation
  • Their motivation for seeking a new opportunity
  • Identification of any relevant gaps in their experience
  • Confirmation of their salary or pay rate alignment with the agreed budget
  • Notice period for their current position
  • Any other significant details that merit attention

Stage 4 - Interviewing and Selection

We make certain that candidates are thoroughly prepared for their client interviews. After the interviews have concluded, we gather detailed feedback from the candidates and compile this information into a comprehensive document for review.

Stage 5 - Offer Management, Credential Vetting and Due Diligence

After the final selection has been determined, we collaborate with the client to arrange and extend the verbal job offer.

We also carry out meticulous background checks and reference checks, adhering to both Vertical Markets’ standards and any specific client requirements, to uphold the highest levels of due diligence.
