Senior Structural Engineer – Cork City

This position is with a leading Irish multidisciplinary engineering firm.

You would be one of the senior figures in the office working closely with the director, leading your own projects, supervising design work, managing project resources and budgets, dealing with client architects and design teams.

The Cork office is mostly independent, bringing in and delivering its own projects – it’s a small team (about 10 people), and a very collaborative environment. It’s not a micromanagement style company, so you will have plenty of autonomy as well.

• Salary can be discussed but will likely be in the €60-65k range. Package also includes pension, life insurance, professional fees, and more.

• It’s a hybrid working role – 3 days in the office and 2 remote working days per week. The company also has various flexible working arrangements.

• The projects you will work on will include a mixture of Public & Private sector works – some recent projects include Secondary Schools, College Campus Buildings, Primary Care Centres, & Social Housing.

Ideally, you will be a Chartered Structural Engineer with 5-10 years’ structural design experience (concrete, steel, timber) on a variety of Public & Private Sector buildings.
