Maintenance Engineer

Design Build Search is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client who is expanding their operations in the greater Dublin area.

This is a practical, field-based position that involves installing and servicing a wide range of window and door components, such as handles, hinges, panic hardware, window balances, and manual winding systems (including Teleflex). The role also includes fitting complete window and door units, both manual and automated.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in a similar role, be comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively, and be confident in organising and managing their own workload while on the move.

Responsibilities

• Installation and servicing of window and door hardware parts
• Installation and servicing of manual winding gear
• Installation of full window and door units, both manual and automated
• Fault finding, repair, and ongoing maintenance across a range of products and systems
• Liaising professionally with clients, main contractors, and site personnel
• Managing own schedule and workload effectively while working on the road
• Maintaining accurate job records and completing required documentation
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to the required standard
• Managing tools, equipment, and vehicle stock to a high standard

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a similar maintenance or installation role
• Full, clean, and valid driving licence
• Safe Pass / Site Pass
• Manual Handling certification
• Garda Vetting (prefered)
• Proficient with computers and mobile systems
• Strong communication skills and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
