Design Build Search is seeking an experience Site Manager on behalf of our client based in North Dublin.
Our client is a long-established, first-generation construction company operating throughout Ireland, the UK and Northern Europe. The business is known for its work in highly controlled and technical environments, including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, and Critical Logistics.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Site Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule and to a high standard. This position is ideal for someone with a broad construction background and strong organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality end product while maintaining a positive working relationship with clients and design teams.
- Maintain exceptional standards in safety, quality and service, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and without snags.
- Provide clear and timely progress updates to management.
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure work is carried out to the required standard.
- Plan and coordinate site activities in line with project documentation and the construction programme.
- Foster strong relationships with the wider construction team, supply chain and subcontractors.
- Assist with scheduling and resource planning.
- Liaise closely with the project QS to highlight potential issues early.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Solid general construction experience.
- Proven background in delivering projects from start through to completion.
- Experience across both Shell & Core and Fit-Out is advantageous.
- Strong technical understanding of construction and project delivery.
- Confident using MS Office and scheduling tools; familiarity with Procore or similar systems is a bonus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage well with clients and teams.
- Strong eye for detail and finishing quality.
- Able to work under pressure and motivate teams effectively.
- Commercially aware and well-informed about the industry.
