Design Build Search is proud to partner with a leading consultancy actively seeking a Senior Engineer to join their dynamic Energy team in Cork, Dublin, or Carlow. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Energy and Planning division while working on a diverse range of renewable energy projects.
The ideal candidate will be involved in project management, environmental assessment, and preliminary design for renewable energy developments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
• Plan and manage CAD documentation, working closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
• Attend onsite meetings with clients and other professionals.
• Maintain compliance with Quality Assurance and Management Systems.
• Ensure adherence to relevant health and safety legislation.
• Coordinate work effectively with other members of the project team.

 
Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience.
• Chartered Engineer status is essential.
• Experience in project management, particularly in the preliminary civil design of renewable energy projects (desirable but not mandatory).
• Proactive, high-energy professional with excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to engage with external stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.
• Flexible, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
• Full, clean driving licence.
