Quality Lead – Commercial Construction – Dublin 
A trusted client of DBSearch in Dublin has an opportunity for a driven and professional Quality Advisor in Dublin This is a unique opportunity to join high performing project teams and utilise your experience as a Quality Professional in the Construction industry. 
Reporting to the Group HSEQ Manager the primary function of this role is to ensure the construction projects meet and exceed industry benchmarks for excellence. A lead role in Quality you will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust quality assurance protocols and procedures. 
As a quality professional you will work closely with project teams to establish quality benchmarks, conduct regular inspections and audits, and identify areas for improvement to enhance project outcomes. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for construction projects. 
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. 
  • Create and maintain quality control documentation and reports.
  • Oversee the testing and inspection of construction materials.  
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as inspectors and regulatory agencies, to ensure project compliance. 
  • Monitor construction processes to identify potential quality issues and provide solutions promptly. 
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. 
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall project performance. 
  • Conduct risk assessments related to quality and safety on construction sites. 
  • Train and educate staff on quality assurance standards and practices. 
  • Manage quality audits and follow up on audit findings. 
  • Document and maintain records of quality issues and resolutions. 
  • Ensure all construction projects meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Drive a culture of continuous quality improvement within the organization. 
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and quality standards.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Experience as a Quality Engineer/Coordinator/Advisor or lead on Civil OR Building Construction Projects  
  • Proven experience with Quality in the construction industry. 
  • In-depth knowledge of construction quality standards and regulations. 
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools. 
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus. 
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
