Operations Coordinator, French Guiana

DesignBuild Search are working closely with a leading telecommunications company who are expanding globally. Due to strategic growth plans they have an opening for an operations coordinator in Cayenne, French Guiana. The successful applicant must be fluent in French and English.
 
This position is responsible for effectively coordinating and overseeing site-level operations across a diverse portfolio of wireless infrastructures. Key tasks include integrating new asset data and documentation, skillfully managing projects, ensuring budgetary constraints are met for all maintenance activities within the designated site portfolio, and facilitating the seamless execution of customer installation projects.
 
QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Fluency in English and French
  • BTS, preferably in a technical field.
  • At least two years’ previous experience in project management.
  • Disciplined, organized, meticulous and able to show initiative.
  • Ability to manage time and work in a team.
  • Work independently in Flex office

 
FUNCTIONS:

  • Represent the Operations function in the market, liaising with cross-functional teams.
  • Understand and meet customer objectives and project deadlines within company processes.
  • Maintain project plans, collaborate with customers, contractors and internal/external resources.
  • Coordinate accounting requirements, including requisitions, purchase orders and invoice approvals.
  • Review tenant installation plans and approve co-location requests.
  • Communicate construction requirements, coordinate site visits, inspections and fencing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards on all sites.
  • Schedule routine maintenance and repairs, manage internal and customer communications.
  • Develop relationships with customers and their subcontractors, resolve or escalate issues, and monitor measurements using company tools.
  • Participate in asset audits as part of M&A activities and interface with lessor administration.
  • Participate in project schedule and budget management meetings, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Keep site information up to date in the company database.
  • Manage operational budgets for assigned territory.
  • Participate in conference calls, team meetings and company meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Monitor and communicate data using company tracking tools and reports at least weekly with Operations Supervisor.
