MEP Cost Manager, Dublin

DesignBuild Search are working with a global leading Engineering Consultancy in Dublin. Due to ongoing projects domestically and internationally they have an opening for an Intermediate MEP Cost Manager. The successful applicant will join a high functioning team and get the opportunity to work alongside leading multi-national corporations on high end portfolio of works.

The cost manager will be responsible for
delivering all aspects of cost management services, covering the whole project lifecycle from initial inception, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

  • Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
  • Understanding a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Healthcare, Education, Defence, Commercial, Residential, Industrial sector experience would be advantageous
  • Understanding of RIAI/GCCC and NEC standard forms of contract would be advantageous
  • Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on procurement, cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
  • Ideally you will live locally to the office or be willing to relocate
  • Ability to manage multiple projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.
  • Prior experience in project delivery.
  • Prior experience in managing teams internally and externally
