About the Company:
Our client is a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy delivering innovative solutions across infrastructure, environmental, and energy projects in Ireland and internationally. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and skilled Environmental Engineer to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out environmental assessments including EIAs, EIARs, and environmental constraints reports.
  • Contribute to waste, water, air, and soil quality studies, providing technical insight and analysis.
  • Support the planning and permitting process for infrastructure and development projects.
  • Liaise with clients, statutory bodies, and internal project teams to ensure environmental compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections, field surveys, sampling, and environmental monitoring.
  • Prepare clear, accurate technical reports, impact assessments, and mitigation proposals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans (EMPs).
  • Keep abreast of changes in environmental legislation and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • 2–5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Familiar with Irish and EU environmental legislation and planning processes.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office; GIS skills and/or AutoCAD experience a plus.
  • Full clean driver’s license preferred (site visits required).
