Electrical Design Engineer

Design Build Search is seeking a Electrical Design Engineer (hybrid) for our client based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team on creating high voltage electrical designs for large scale commercial and industrial projects
• Design electrical systems and industrial controls that meet project specifications and standards.
• Develop detailed schematics and system layouts.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of electrical designs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems and controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required
• 7+ years’ of experience in high voltage electrical design with a portfolio of successful projects.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software and other electrical design tools.
• Strong interpersonal, task allocation, and organizational skills.
• Experience in project management
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Renumeration:

• Base Salary of between €65,000 – €70,000 (DOE)
