Civil Design Engineer, Limerick

Design Build Search are working with a leading civil contractor who continue to expand nationwide. Due to growth plans they have an opportunity for a Design Engineer In their Limerick office. The successful applicant will join an experienced technical and engineering team working on key projects nationwide.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the requirements associated with the design and delivery of infrastructure projects and will be expected to bring an innovative approach.
Minimum:

• Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3+ years design experience with consultancy or contractor
• Previous civil/infrastructure experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholder developing design solutions.
• Proven experience working with AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
• Ambitious and willing to learn

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develop design documents and details.
• Ensure designs prioritise safety, the environment, constructability, and commercial efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Undertake site visits and technical assessments to inform and validate design work.
• Identify opportunities for sustainability and innovation in design solutions.
• Keep appraised of the latest standards and technology through continuous professional development.
