DesignBuild Search are working closely with a leading Irish company who are expanding nationwide. Our client is involved in range of commercial, retail and fit-out projects. Due to strong pipeline of work over the next 5 years’, they have an opening for a Senior Contracts Manager/Director. The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating between multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications, experience & skills
- Relevant industry experience; 5-8 years in a comparable position
- Quantity Surveying, engineering, architect
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Design and commercial acumen and financial awareness
- Effective and comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Organized with attention to detail
- Self-motivation & dynamism.
- Ideally chartered or working towards a relevant professional accreditation.
- Good negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills
- Good presentation and Communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and report regularly to the CEO on project progression
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to minimise cost and maximise efficiencies
- Provide commercial input into procurement strategies and evaluations for construction
- Provide support on technical and commercial aspects of projects
- Advise, write and support with project correspondence.
- Ensure risk registers, variation trackers, extension of time tracker sheets and correspondence logs are kept live and updated
- Advise on contractual matters and contractual approach with contractors and supply chain
- Identify contract grounds for claim and determine claim strategy
- Review notices and contractual correspondence
- Prepare Claims upstream and review and determine downstream.
- Manage and responsible for Collateral Warranties, Guarantees, retentions, performance Bonds.
