M&E Quantity Surveyor, Dublin

Design Build Search are working with a leading Irish contractor who have an opening for a M&E Quantity Surveyor in Dublin. The successful candidate will be working on a mix of projects with an established commercial team.  The successful applicant will work across a number of prestigious projects.
 
Scope of Projects:
Commercial, Pharma, Healthcare and Fit-out
 
Minimum

• Hold a degree in construction economics or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience
• Experienced in the M&E Sector
• Ability to price and estimate project
• Ability to agree final accounts, negotiations with sub-contractors

 
Primary

• Reviewing Drawings and documents of projects to be tendered
• Take-off of projects for tendering
• Review of plant quotations
• Entering take-offs and plant on Estimation
• Compiling and issuing of Tender Supporting documents
• Liaising with external estimators as required
• Investigate Value Engineering where applicable
• Attend site visits and client meetings as required

 
Supporting

• Set-up files and put on server
• Output drawings & documents for tenders
• Set-up summaries on estimation
• Send out quotation requests
• Send out the necessary tender documents to external estimators
• Fill and send forms of tenders
• Filing of soft copy/hard copy of tenders
• Update estimation for new products
• Update estimation pricing as requested
