Project Quantity Surveyor, North Wicklow

DesignBuild Search are working with a rapidly expanding contractor who an opening for a project QS in North Wicklow.  Our client has secured over €100m in commercial, residential and healthcare projects. This position will give you the opportunity to work on prestigious projects throughout greater Dublin region with industry leaders.

Requirements:
Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
3+ years post college experience
3+ years with a main contractor

Responsible include:

• Post tender and pre contract activities: familiarisation with the tender file and assisting with preparing commercial targets for the project.
• During the contract period: the procurement of subcontractors, attending pre-award meetings, documentation and schedules, applications, variation schedules, measurement, controlling accounts, payments, in-house reports, contractual correspondence and final account.
• During the post contract period: finalise subcontractor accounts and complete all filing and other documentation.
• Integrate the commercial strategy, amending to suit project as it develops.
• Liaise with & commercially influence/challenge the other members of the team and the construction process.
