Our client, an established and forward-thinking construction firm is seeking an experienced Site Manager for an upcoming project based in Clonmel. Responsibilities:

  • Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring daily operations run efficiently and safely
  • Maintain up-to-date site diaries and align workforce levels with project programme targets
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure delivery is on time, within budget, and meets quality expectations
  • Implement and oversee Health & Safety protocols and Quality Management Systems
  • Drive continual process improvement while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
  • Coordinate material requisitions and manage timely, specification-compliant deliveries
  • Lead and participate in site meetings to ensure clear and consistent communication among stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in site management, ideally with a main contractor
  • Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related trade background
  • Proven track record of delivering projects from start to finish
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee subcontractors
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational abilities
  • In-depth understanding of construction practices and industry regulations
