Our client, an established and forward-thinking construction firm is seeking an experienced Site Manager for an upcoming project based in Clonmel. Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring daily operations run efficiently and safely
- Maintain up-to-date site diaries and align workforce levels with project programme targets
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure delivery is on time, within budget, and meets quality expectations
- Implement and oversee Health & Safety protocols and Quality Management Systems
- Drive continual process improvement while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
- Coordinate material requisitions and manage timely, specification-compliant deliveries
- Lead and participate in site meetings to ensure clear and consistent communication among stakeholders
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in site management, ideally with a main contractor
- Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related trade background
- Proven track record of delivering projects from start to finish
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee subcontractors
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational abilities
- In-depth understanding of construction practices and industry regulations
