Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver high-quality HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system designs across a range of complex building services projects. The successful candidate will bring solid technical ability, attention to detail, and strong coordination skills to support design stages from concept to handover.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare mechanical system designs including HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, and fire protection.
• Perform heat load calculations, psychrometric analysis, and duct/pipe sizing.
• Coordinate with electrical and structural engineers to ensure full design integration.
• Develop design layouts using Revit and AutoCAD in collaboration with BIM technicians.
• Prepare specifications, schedules, and reports for tender and construction phases.
• Attend design workshops, coordination meetings, and site inspections as needed.
• Ensure all mechanical designs meet local codes, sustainability goals, and project standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of experience in mechanical design within MEP or building services projects.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. Hevacomp, IES, Revit MEP, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, CIBSE, and/or local mechanical building regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
