Construction Coordinator, Telecommunications (Germany)

Design Build Search are working with a global leader in the telecommunication sector. Due to ongoing work they have an opening for a construction coordinator in Germany. This is unique opportunity which offers a very flexible work life balance. The ideal candidate could be based in Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg as site visit will be required once a month to our clients Germany HQ Iin Berlin. To be considered you must be fluent in German with a good level of English

PURPOSE:
This position will be responsible for the support and coordination of project partners and suppliers who plan and construct the out clients Germany mobile phone masts. This includes both the support of the planning process and the monitoring of construction work on site, as well as the acceptance of milestones according to construction progress.

FUNCTIONS:
• Project management for the construction of new mobile phone masts
• Monitoring the construction activities of various projects in the region
• Analyzing and evaluating project data and comparing it with planned costs and times
• Creating reports and presentations as well as communicating with our suppliers and partners
• Continuous control and optimization of internal processes
• Regular reporting
• Project controlling
• Monitoring the required construction capacity These job functions are representative of tasks accomplished by incumbents. The list is not exhaustive; incumbents perform other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in the field of structural or civil engineering or equivalent training
• Many years of experience as a project manager, preferably in the construction of new cell towers
• Support in drafting contracts with suppliers and partners
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office package
• Fluent German in word and writing (mother tongue), good knowledge of English
