Senior Project Manager

Design Build Search is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager with 10+ years’ of experience in residential and/or commercial construction.

Our client is a fast growing Developer Builder based in South Dublin. In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of projects under his or her control from planning through implementation to final account stage. Supervising the work of Junior Project Managers, Project Engineers and Foremen on site.

This role will include a competitive base salary, along with a company vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Managing relationships with Contractors, Subcontractors, Consultants, Clients, End Customers
• Management of EH&S on designated site
• Management of Junior Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foremen, Site staff
• Problem solving and decision making in collaboration with line manager on site matters
• Planning of resources, labour, materials and subcontractors
• Management of materials and supplies on site in safe and secure manner
• Liaising with design team
• Implementation of company Health and Safety policy
• Monitoring progress on site
• Maintaining site documentation in orderly and accurate manner
• Approving all Final Account Claims including all variations

Requirements:

• Third level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 10+ years construction experience.
• Residential experience is desirable.
• Experience working on large, new build projects in fast paced environments.
• Demonstrated ability to plan & deliver a complex project.
• Strong numeracy and report writing skills
• Ability to build & maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
• Understands commercial realities; proposes cost-effective solutions
• Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package)..
