Safety Administrator – Belgium
One of Europe’s leading building contractors has an exceptional opportunity for a Safety Administrator to work on a high profile commercial construction project in Belgium. Day-to-day duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the safety team.
- Manage and analyse safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Use Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams) to create reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Collaborate with management and the wider team to implement and maintain safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Proactively support the identifying and resolution of safety-related issues through data management and timeous communication.
- Efficiently organise and maintain both physical and digital files to ensure easy access and retrieval of important documents.
- Professionally handle incoming calls, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate team members.
- Manage and prioritise emails, ensuring timely responses and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a safety or compliance environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Detail-oriented and organised with the ability to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Able to work independently, take the initiative to solve problems and complete tasks without supervision.
- Able to work well within a team and offer support and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Proactive in finding solutions to challenges and committed to continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
