Due to our clients continued development and expansion, Design Build Search is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our client’s team based in Dublin.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Identify project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Update and adjust project schedules as necessary to accommodate changes.
  • Allocate resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to various project tasks.
  • Monitor and adjust resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for different phases of the project.
  • Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring expenditures are within approved limits.
  • Monitor project costs and implement corrective actions to address budget variances
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members.
  • Conduct regular meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.


  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in construction planning and project management.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
