Project Coordinator vacancy based in Cork with a leading Civil Engineering Contractor:

  • Ideally based in Cork
  • Primarily office-based role
  • Occasional site visits
  • Salary is circa €55-65k but flexible to discuss depending on experience.
  • Package includes company vehicle, laptop, phone, pension, healthcare, and an annual bonus (based on company and personal performance).

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or Construction Management.
  • You will ideally have 5+ years’ experience but candidates with less or more experience will certainly be considered also.
  • Previous site-based construction or civil engineering experience
  • Previous project managment or planning experience
  • Ability to organise people, machinery, and subcontractors for projects
  • Budget managment experience
  • Strong IT skills essential – specifically Excel

Job description:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of ongoing projects
  • Plan for upcoming projects including organisation of required plant, personnel and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are being complete on time and under budget.
  • Preparation of site documentation – Lift Plans, RAMS, Inspection Test Plans
  • Manage company fleet and equipment ensuring it is well maintained
  • Manage site personnel and oversee performance
  • Keep track of equipment, personnel and HSE reporting on your projects..
  • Track project expenditure during execution and optimise where possible
  • Assist in preparing financial proposals for future projects
