Mechanical Project Manager – HVAC

My client is a specialist mechanical engineering equipment manufacturer and supplier – they currently require Project Manager to join the team.

Projects will be a mix of Industrial & Commercial projects across the Dublin region.

The company provides a one-stop solution for clients – they manufacture the products, distribute them, and coordinate installation on site.

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or similar
  • 10+ years’ experience in a mechanical contracting environment.
  • 5+ years’ experience at Project Manager level
  • HVAC, Ducting, or Piping experience essential

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering all aspects of projects under your control from planning through implementation to final account stage.
  • Management of QEHS
  • Management of Junior Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foremen, Site staff
  • Managing relationships with Contractors, Subcontractors, Consultants, Clients, End Customers
  • Problem solving and decision making in collaboration with management on site matters
  • Planning of resources, labour, materials and subcontractors
  • Management of materials and supplies on site in safe and secure manner
  • Delivering projects on program and within budget
  • Liaising with design team
  • Monitoring progress on site
  • Maintaining site documentation in orderly and accurate manner
  • Approving all Final Account Claims including all variations
  • Responsibility for all projects in the area
  • Holding regular meetings with management team to discuss and monitor progress of projects
  • Being available to take calls from clients etc. at all times
  • Reviewing all minutes of project meetings and addressing all issues arising
  • Submitting weekly status reports to management team
